Laps Games, an indie developer, has set a release date for their upcoming medieval sandbox survival RPG, Valorborn.

Valorborn will be available for early access on Windows PC via Steam starting April 15th, with plans for at least a year of early access.

Founder of Laps Games, Onurhan Akçay, expressed his gratitude for the support received for Land of the Vikings, which enabled the development of Valorborn. He stated, “With Valorborn, we wanted to create a world where players can truly choose their own path and write their own stories.”

Akçay cited games like Mount & Blade, Wartales, and Kenshi, as well as worlds like Game of Thrones and The Lord of the Rings, as inspirations for creating a dangerous, reactive medieval fantasy world filled with freedom and possibilities.

Step into a living medieval fantasy sandbox RPG where the world evolves with or without your presence. Villagers have daily routines, factions vie for power, threats lurk, and every decision can lead to opportunity or calamity.

Choose to be a thief, hunter, or mercenary. Travel alone or form a party. Engage in hunting, thievery, trading, combat, and survival in a fully explorable world where every structure, cave, and path contributes to your narrative.
