Apple Unveils iOS 26.4: Introducing 8 New Emoji and 12 Exciting Updates for Your iPhone

Apple has recently rolled out the latest software update, iOS 26.4, packed with 13 exciting enhancements for iPhone users. Among the key features are 8 new emoji characters, improvements to Apple Music, enhanced keyboard accuracy, and much more.

According to Apple, iOS 26.4 introduces Playlist Playground and Concerts in Apple Music, along with 8 new emoji characters and various other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone.

The release notes detail the 13 specific features and improvements in this update, including enhancements to Apple Music such as Playlist Playground, Concerts, Offline Music Recognize in Control Center, Ambient Music widget, and full-screen backgrounds for album and playlist pages.

In terms of accessibility, iOS 26.4 offers a reduce bright effects setting, subtitle and caption settings, and a reduce motion setting for users sensitive to screen motion.

Additionally, the update includes 8 new emoji characters, advanced image creation and editing tools in Freeform, the ability to mark reminders as urgent, purchase sharing for Family Sharing groups, and improved keyboard accuracy.

Looking ahead, the next software updates from Apple include iOS 26.5 and iOS 27, which are expected to introduce new Siri and Apple Intelligence features powered by Google’s Gemini AI models. iOS 27 is set to be previewed at WWDC 2026 in June and will be in development over the summer before being released to customers in September.
