That means you can start listening on your iPhone, then switch to your Mac without going through a lot of annoying extra steps. It’s one of those little things that feels silly until you get used to it, and then it feels hard to live without.

If you’re trying to keep the cost as low as possible, the cheapest realistic Apple audio option is the base AirPods 4. We’re talking about the AirPods 4 without Active Noise Cancellation, which start at $129, but if you can, you should probably get the AirPods 4 with ANC for $179.
