Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Unveils Details About Stranger Than Heaven

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has recently provided more insights into their upcoming project, Stranger Than Heaven. This open-world crime drama promises a captivating narrative that spans across five different eras and Japanese cities, offering a unique experience for players.

The official trailer for Stranger Than Heaven showcases the game’s setting in 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965, with events unfolding in five distinct cities. Masayoshi Yokoyama, the RGG Studio Representative & Executive Producer, expressed the team’s dedication to bringing these historical periods and locations to life, emphasizing the game’s unparalleled storytelling.

In a statement to Xbox Wire, Yokoyama mentioned, “The inclusion of 5 cities and 5 eras presents a monumental task. We are meticulously crafting these time periods and settings that are rarely explored in the gaming world, offering a truly unique and immersive gameplay experience.”

Furthermore, the trailer highlights the enhanced real-time combat system, with Yokoyama-san hinting at even more dynamic combat features to be revealed in the future. This promising glimpse sets the stage for a larger showcase scheduled for May, where more gameplay details will be unveiled.
