In a recent interview with Reuters, Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed that the demand for iPhones has been exceptional, but the company is currently facing challenges in sourcing additional parts. Cook also mentioned during an earnings call that similar supply constraints could impact Mac devices due to the sustained high demand they are experiencing.
Apple Achieves Record Revenue in Q2 2026
Apple has announced a remarkable revenue of $111.2 billion in the second quarter of 2026, marking it as the company’s “best March quarter ever,” according to CEO Tim Cook. This financial achievement comes shortly after the revelation of Cook’s planned retirement in September, with John Ternus set to succeed him as the new CEO while Cook transitions to the role of executive chairman.
Apple’s Diversified Revenue Streams
The introduction of new devices has propelled Apple’s Mac revenue to $8.4 billion, while iPads have generated $6.91 billion in revenue. Additionally, Apple’s services segment, encompassing subscriptions like Apple One, Apple Music, Apple TV, and more, has reached a new “all-time record” revenue of $30.98 billion, demonstrating the company’s diversified revenue streams.
