Experience Xbox Mode on Your Windows 11 PC: The Ultimate Gaming Upgrade
Microsoft Introduces Xbox Mode for Windows 11 PCs
Microsoft has announced the rollout of Xbox mode to all Windows 11 PCs, bringing a new full-screen interface to the Xbox PC app. This feature, reminiscent of Steam’s Big Picture Mode, was initially launched as the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) with Asus’ Xbox Ally devices.
According to the Xbox team, players in select markets can already access the Xbox mode experience, with availability set to expand to more players in the coming weeks. To enjoy Xbox mode, users simply need to install the latest Windows update for Windows 11.
The goal of Xbox mode is to bridge the gap between Xbox consoles and Windows platforms. While its initial release on Xbox Ally devices may have felt like a beta version, Microsoft has been actively listening to player feedback and refining the experience. The Xbox team states, “Since its introduction on Windows handhelds, Xbox mode has evolved based on user input, leading to improvements on Windows 11 PCs.”
