Praise the New Overlord: Mega Crit’s Reign of the Slay the Spire 2 Boss
Exciting Updates in the Latest Slay the Spire 2 Patch
The developers of Slay the Spire 2 have been hard at work on the latest beta version of the game, v0.105.0. One of the biggest changes is the switch to bi-weekly patching, giving players more time to absorb and provide feedback on new updates. This decision comes after the developers realized that weekly patches were too much work and led to burnout. By patching every two weeks, they can focus on making bigger changes and polishing the game before each release.
One of the new features in this patch is the Beastiary, which gives players a glimpse of all the game’s creatures and their animations. While it’s still a work in progress, players can enjoy exploring the different beasts and their data at their leisure.
Another significant change in this patch is the replacement of the Doormaker boss with Aeonglass. The developers listened to player feedback about the Doormaker and decided to start fresh with a new boss for Act 3. This change was made to address the complexity issues and lingering problems with the previous boss.
In addition to these major updates, the patch also includes various tweaks, buffs, nerfs, art additions, UI improvements, and writing fixes. Players can check out the full patch notes for a detailed list of all the changes and improvements.
