Amazon’s Lightning-Fast Delivery Service Expands to New Cities
Amazon Now Expands 30-Minute Delivery Service Nationwide
Amazon Now, the 30-minute delivery service, is now available to millions of Amazon shoppers across the United States after a successful limited test run in Seattle and Philadelphia last December. The service has expanded to Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, and is also gradually rolling out in Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, and Oklahoma City.
Customers can now enjoy speedy delivery of thousands of items including fresh produce, over-the-counter medicines, household essentials, and even small electronics like AirPods and HDMI cables. Eligible items can be identified by the “30-Minute Delivery” option on the Amazon homepage and mobile app in available cities.
Amazon Prime members can benefit from discounted delivery fees of $3.99 per order, while non-members can avail the service at $13.99. Orders below $15 incur an additional $1.99 fee for Prime members and $3.99 for others.
Correction, May 12th: Amazon has clarified that the service is currently available in a more limited capacity in Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, and Oklahoma City. Previous reports of further expansions were incorrect.
