Ceer Motors recently unveiled its flagship vehicles, the Exobot sedan and SUV, as part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious venture into the automotive industry. These electric marvels, supported by the Public Investment Fund and Foxconn, have garnered attention for their collaboration with BMW, which extends to a technology license rather than a drivetrain supply agreement.

CEO James DeLuca acknowledges BMW’s extensive expertise, spanning over a century, for contributing to Ceer’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities. While the motors are sourced externally, with Rimac Technology handling the rear electric drive unit and Hyundai Transys supplying the front motors, Ceer’s strategic alliances ensure cutting-edge performance and innovation.

Revolutionary Design and Features

Both Exobot models defy convention with their seamless design, featuring gullwing doors and a B-pillar-free structure that exudes elegance and aerodynamic efficiency. The expansive glass roof and advanced windshield technology reflect Ceer’s commitment to luxury and comfort in extreme climates.

The interior is dominated by a stunning 48-inch Digital Horizon Display, reminiscent of BMW’s signature design philosophy. The vehicle’s exterior lighting pays homage to Saudi Arabia’s history, incorporating 32 light segments symbolizing the country’s unification in 1932.

The performance of the First Edition cars is nothing short of impressive, with three electric motors delivering exhilarating power and speed. The sedan achieves remarkable acceleration, reaching 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds, while the SUV maintains a swift pace at 2.9 seconds.

With a focus on practicality and efficiency, Ceer’s Exobots boast a 112-kWh battery capacity, providing a substantial range of up to 670 km. The 800-volt architecture and rapid DC charging capabilities ensure seamless long-distance journeys.

Ceer’s journey towards mass production is well underway, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence in 2027, a testament to the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation. The company’s vision includes a diverse range of models, including saloons, compact cars, and SUVs, set to debut by 2028.
