Insights on iOS 27

While much of the information in the Bloomberg report reiterates existing knowledge about iOS 27, there are some intriguing new details that are worth highlighting.

• The Find My app is set to undergo a “subtle visual refresh” with new icons in the navigation tab bar.
• Significant enhancements are expected in the “Clean Up” feature within the Photos app during the iOS 27 update cycle.
• Apple is experimenting with “natural language prompt-based editing of photos,” enabling users to request specific edits such as cropping or color adjustments via voice or text. However, this feature may not be available in the initial iOS 27 release.
• A new notification animation is included in iOS 27, where notifications now slide in from the left side of the screen to align with the new gesture system. Users can swipe down from the left to access the Notification Center, as swiping down from the center opens the Search or Ask AI panel.
