London’s Isometric lands €34 million to scale certification platform for industrial markets

Isometric, a leading AI certification platform, has successfully closed a €34 million ($40 million) Series A funding round. The goal of this funding is to expand its reach in the €305 billion ($350 billion) industrial certification market and accelerate its AI-enabled services expansion.

The funding round was led by AVP, with participation from all of Isometric’s existing institutional investors, including Lowercarbon Capital and Plural. Notable personal investments were made by Kleiner Perkins chairman John Doerr and Walter Kortschak.

Eamon Jubbawy, the Founder and CEO of Isometric, expressed his excitement about the potential of AI in the certification industry. He highlighted how Isometric’s AI agents are revolutionizing the certification process by combining speed and rigor, enabling industrial companies to achieve both instant results and high accuracy.

Isometric’s Series A funding is part of a larger trend towards AI-enabled compliance, verification infrastructure, and industrial decarbonization. Comparable software companies like Hybridity, Cleo Labs, A-Cube, Duna, and Outpost are also leveraging AI and automation for regulatory compliance in various sectors.

In the physical economy and climate infrastructure space, companies like MAECONOMY, Cocoon Carbon, and D-CRBN are receiving funding for auditable circular materials, lower-carbon construction inputs, and industrial CO₂ reuse.

The UK is playing a significant role in this industry shift, with companies like Outpost and Cocoon Carbon leading the way in compliance-heavy and industrial transition infrastructure.

François Robinet, Managing Partner at AVP, praised Isometric for eliminating the traditional trade-off between speed and rigor in certification. He commended the company for its innovative AI platform and its potential to transform certification processes across the industrial economy.

Isometric’s platform, Certify, uses AI to analyze and cross-check vast amounts of data to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards. The company has established itself as a leader in the carbon removal industry and has been trusted by major corporations like Microsoft, Anglo American, JPMorganChase, and Boeing.

Blair McDougall, Minister for Economic Transformation, commended Isometric as a prime example of a successful AI-driven business in the UK. He emphasized the importance of supporting innovative companies like Isometric to attract international investment and drive economic growth.
