Competition Company Releases Touring Classics Part 1 DLC for Rennsport

Competition Company has fulfilled its promise of major changes by launching a second significant DLC for Rennsport. This update brings classic cars and tracks to the game and also introduces a 50% price reduction.

The Touring Classics Part 1 DLC, along with an accompanying update, is set to go live tomorrow. The server maintenance will commence at 8AM UK time and is expected to last for 3 hours. Once the game is back online, players can enjoy Rennsport at a permanent 50% discounted price. This price cut was initially scheduled for the previous week.

One of the highlights of the Touring Classics Part 1 DLC is the digital reconstruction of the Hockenheimring in its pre-2002 forest layout. The track, recreated with modern technology, retains its original essence despite not being an exact replica. The DLC also introduces four touring car legends: Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo, BMW E30 M3, Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class V6 DTM. Additionally, players can access 20 Touring Classics-inspired liveries, 348 new Rennsport Cup liveries for 50 RENN$ each, and 8 Hall of Fame liveries for the GT3 cars in the game.

The free update that accompanies the DLC includes the Thermalito community track, originally designed by DDF Racer and refined in collaboration with Nukedrop. It also introduces the HWA EVO.R car and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

Competition Company has been consistently adding new content to Rennsport, including iconic circuits like Laguna Seca, Circuit de la Sarthe, Sebring, and the Endurance Classics DLC. The team is continuously improving the game’s AI, with the latest update focusing on enhanced collision avoidance, cornering logic, driveline discipline, performance balance, and more. Although a full AI revamp is in the works, it will be implemented in a future update.
