OnePlus has officially revealed the date for the launch of its upcoming flagship device, the OnePlus 15.

When OnePlus introduces its latest flagship model, it marks the beginning of a new era in the smartphone industry. As a key player in the market, OnePlus sets the tone alongside Xiaomi by unveiling its offerings early on.

The company recently took to Weibo to announce that the OnePlus 15 will be unveiled on 27 October, just a few days away.

Specifications and Color Variants

OnePlus’s announcement hints at a phone with “Ultra Performance,” likely due to its utilization of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The global variant of the OnePlus 15 has already made waves on Geekbench with impressive performance results.

The phone is set to revolutionize gaming with its “165 ultra-high framerate gaming” feature, thanks to the confirmed 165Hz display and enhanced processing power.

In addition to the launch date, OnePlus has disclosed the three color options for the OnePlus 15: Misty Purple, Original Sand Dune, and Absolute Black.

OnePlus has also confirmed the presence of a massive 7300mAh battery in the OnePlus 15, coupled with 120W charging support. The phone will feature a triple 50Mp camera system and showcase a new industrial design, reminiscent of the OnePlus 13R with a unique camera module.

As is customary, the OnePlus 15 will first launch in China before expanding to other markets in early January, following the pattern set by the OnePlus 13.

Furthermore, OnePlus has teased the OnePlus Ace 6 in its recent update, expected to be a budget-friendly flagship option. If it makes its way to Western markets, it may be rebranded under a different name.
