Pixel 11 Pro: A Sneak Peek at the Upcoming Release

The anticipation for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro release is at an all-time high, especially after the recent teaser on the store landing page. The teaser hints at a shiny gold color that might become this year’s hero color, following in the footsteps of the Moonstone color from the Pixel 10 Pro models. However, there seems to be a discrepancy between the teaser image and the leaked colors, leaving room for speculation that the rear panel color is being kept under wraps for now.

The closest match to the leaked images seems to be the Dune color, with a gold frame and an orangey/pink coral shade for the rear panel. The landing page, adorned in a sunset sandy tone, further supports this theory, although a combination of gold and black would undoubtedly make a bold statement.

Introducing Pixel Glow: A New Feature

One of the most exciting revelations from the teaser is the introduction of a new feature called Pixel Glow to the Pixel 11 range. While not officially confirmed yet, Pixel Glow is believed to be housed within the camera flash, marking a significant departure from previous design choices.

Speculation surrounding Pixel Glow hinted at elaborate designs such as a light encircling the camera bar or being integrated into the iconic ‘G’ logo. However, the teaser reveals a simpler implementation of the feature.

According to early information, Pixel Glow will utilize subtle light and color on the back of the device to provide users with essential notifications when the phone is face down. This innovative feature opens up possibilities for assigning different colors to specific contacts, allowing users to identify callers at a glance.
