Street Group Secures Strategic Growth Investment from Hg
Street Group, previously known as Agent Software, a leading provider of vertical software and AI solutions for the UK residential property sector, has announced a significant strategic growth investment from Hg, a renowned investor in European and transatlantic software and services businesses.
The investment values Street Group at over €233.8 million (£200 million) and marks a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. Prior to this investment, Street Group was supported by Manchester-based PXN Group, a venture capital firm known for backing high-growth Northern businesses.
Co-CEOs and co-founders of Street Group, Heather and Tom Staff, expressed their excitement about the partnership with Hg. They stated, “We built Street to fundamentally change how estate and letting agents work, and AI is central to that mission. In Hg, we have found a partner who shares our long-term ambition, our product focus, and brings genuine depth of experience and operational expertise in scaling software and AI businesses.”
Founded in 2015 by siblings Tom and Heather Staff, Street Group specializes in building software that revolutionizes the UK residential property market. The company’s integrated operating system for estate and letting agents includes core CRM (Street.co.uk), the prospecting and lead-generation platform Spectre, and AI-native products like Cortex.
With a team of over 200 employees, Street Group currently serves thousands of estate and letting agency branches across the UK. The company plans to accelerate product innovation and enhance its AI capabilities with the new funding from Hg.
Partner at Hg, Louis Kinsella, commented on the investment, stating, “Street is exactly the kind of business we love to back. It’s a category leader with a technical edge, loved by its customers, and deeply embedded in their daily workflows. Heather and Tom are an exceptional founding team who have built something rare, combining genuine product innovation with accelerating growth.”
Hg, with its vast European network and strong presence in North America, manages over $110 billion in assets and has a portfolio of around 60 businesses worth over $190 billion in aggregate enterprise value.
