NextSlide Joins OpenAI to Work on ChatGPT

In a recent announcement, NextSlide revealed its collaboration with OpenAI, with the team now focusing on the development of ChatGPT.

On the NextSlide website, founder Ahmed Beshry described the company’s product as a tool that can transform prompts, notes, documents, or research into polished and editable presentations.

The primary objective, according to Beshry, is to enhance visual communication accessibility and enable individuals to express their ideas clearly. By partnering with OpenAI, the team aims to continue their mission of creating AI solutions that empower people to craft, communicate, and bring their ideas to life.

While the financial details of the collaboration remain undisclosed, Beshry mentioned in a LinkedIn post that the acquisition occurred earlier this year, albeit the announcement was delayed by a few months.

Before his involvement with NextSlide, Beshry co-founded Caper AI, a smart cart and cashier-less checkout startup that was acquired by Instacart in 2021.
