Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra review 36

Recently, there have been reports of screen discolouration issues on Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung acknowledged the problem in early August, attributing it to a software glitch rather than a hardware issue. The company assured users that they were actively working on a software fix to address the discolouration problem. In the interim, users were advised to visit service centres for screen calibration to rectify the issue. Fortunately, a software update containing the fix was released last week.

Challenges with Software Update

Despite the software update, some Galaxy S26 Ultra users have reported that the red discolouration on their screens persists. Additionally, individuals who sought screen calibration services from Samsung’s service centres have encountered new problems. These include the appearance of dots along the top edge of their phones and reddish areas at the top and bottom of the screen.
