Apple Unveils Latest iOS 27.2 Developer Beta for iPhone Users

Apple has rolled out the second developer beta for iOS 27.2, following the widespread release of iOS 27. This beta update skips over iOS 27.1, which was specifically focused on the iPhone Duo.

iOS 27.2 is set to be the next major release after the official launch of iOS 27 on September 14. The previous iOS 27.1 release was tailored for the iPhone Duo, with Apple detailing how developers can optimize their apps for the dual-screen display.

In addition, Apple released Xcode 27.1 beta with support for the iPhone Duo simulator and app development for the new foldable iPhone. This latest beta comes just five days after the initial release.

The first iOS 27.2 beta introduced several new features and updates, including a redesigned Health app, dual capture mode for Group FaceTime, expanded Siri language support, Apple TV app profiles on iPhone, and enhancements to Apple Podcasts and Apple Music.
