A leak discovered by Smartprix, attributed to OVRPlus, has revealed the Pixel 12 series’ presence in the GSMA IMEI database. While the details are scarce, it does hint at the display resolutions Google may offer.
Typically, display resolution listings remain consistent, but this time, there seems to be a change.
The base Pixel 12 (GC0QU), Pixel 12 Pro (GWU59), and Pixel 12 Pro XL (G7U1Y) are reported to have slightly fewer vertical pixels than their predecessors.
What to Expect from the Pixel 12 Series
The adjustments in the Pixel 12 series’ display resolutions indicate a shift towards slightly wider aspect ratios, rather than a downgrade in quality.
For instance, the standard Pixel 12 is rumored to move from 1,080 x 2,424 in the Pixel 11 to 1,080 x 2,400.
