Obsero Raises €1 Million in Seed Funding to Develop AI Agents

Obsero, a leading British AI search platform and consultancy, has secured €1 million ($1.2 million) in Seed funding. The investment will be used to advance the development of their first specialist AI agents, which are trained on their GEO playbook. Additionally, the funds will be utilized to double the engineering team and accelerate go-to-market strategies.

The funding round was spearheaded by SFC Capital, with participation from several of Obsero’s own customers.

Mike Logue, the co-founder and CEO of Obsero, expressed his gratitude for the support from customers, stating, “When customers invest in your business, it speaks volumes beyond what a pitch deck can convey. The realm of AI is revolutionizing how brands are discovered, and our mission is to provide the tools necessary for marketing teams to navigate this new landscape effectively.”

Obsero’s Seed funding announcement comes amidst a wave of investments in European startups focusing on AI search visibility and marketing automation tools.

In a recent report by EU-Startups, it was revealed that Searchable, a fellow British company, raised €11.9 million to expand its AI-led search performance platform. Similarly, London-based geoSurge secured €10 million to enhance its technology aimed at improving brand representation within generative AI systems.

Other notable investments in the AI marketing space include Lisbon-based DOJO AI, which raised €5.1 million to expand its AI marketing platform in the US, and Manchester-based Revnu, which secured €2.6 million to grow its AI-driven sales and marketing automation business.

Collectively, these funding rounds, along with Obsero’s, represent a total disclosed investment of approximately €30.6 million in AI search visibility and related marketing technologies in 2026.

He stated, “The landscape of SEO is constantly evolving, and AI engines now consider factors such as source credibility and context in unprecedented ways. Brands must stay ahead of these changes to maintain their visibility in AI-driven environments.”

Established in 2025, Obsero specializes in AI Search solutions that empower brands to enhance their presence on AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews.

Founded by Mike Logue and Andy Francos, who crossed paths at IG Group in 2019, Obsero was born out of a shared vision to help brands navigate the complexities of AI-driven discovery mechanisms. By analyzing over 10 million AI answers in their inaugural year, Obsero has garnered a diverse client base, including Zopa Bank and Pepperstone, and forged partnerships with agencies like IDHL and Silverbean.

Combining advanced AI technology with expert consultancy services, Obsero offers invaluable insights into how AI engines perceive brands, which sources they trust, and strategies to enhance visibility.

Ed Stevenson, Fund Principal at SFC Capital, commended Obsero’s approach, noting, “AI assistants are becoming the primary gateway to online content, and brands must understand their recommendations. Obsero’s fusion of technology and expertise positions them for significant growth, and we have full confidence in Mike and Andy’s leadership.”
