Microsoft Introduces Xbox Full Screen Experience to PCs, Laptops, and Tablets
Bringing a console-like User Interface (UI) to the world of PC gaming, Microsoft has launched the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) for laptops, desktops, and tablets. Previously only available on PC handhelds, FSE aims to enhance the gaming experience by providing a seamless navigation system through your game library.
The expansion of FSE to laptops, desktops, and tablets is now accessible through the new Windows Insider Preview Builds on the Dev and Beta channels, as well as for members of the Xbox Insider Program. To enable FSE on your PC, simply follow Microsoft’s instructions: “hover over the Task View icon on your taskbar and choose Xbox Full Screen Experience.” Alternatively, you can access it through Game Bar > Settings or by pressing Win + F11.
For Windows Insiders eager to try out FSE, Microsoft notes that the feature is being gradually rolled out with the new Windows Insider builds. Additionally, users must have the Xbox app downloaded from the Microsoft Store to access FSE. Stay tuned for updates as Microsoft continues to expand the availability of this exciting new feature.
