Barcelona-Based Startup Uxia Secures Nearly €1 Million in First Investment Round

Uxia, a Barcelona-based B2B SaaS startup that specializes in automating user testing through AI-generated synthetic users, has successfully raised almost €1 million in its initial investment round. This funding sets the stage for a potential Seed round within the next 12-24 months.

Leading the pre-Seed round was Abac Nest Ventures, accompanied by Encomenda VC and notable angel investors like Javier Darriba, Marsal Gavaldà, and William Leppard. The injection of capital, totaling €1 million with an Enisa loan, will significantly support Uxia’s product development, talent acquisition, and global expansion efforts.

CEO and co-founder of Uxia, Borja Díaz-Roig, expressed the company’s mission of revolutionizing product design validation by offering AI-generated user profiles for rapid testing. This innovative approach has garnered attention within the European AI-driven B2B SaaS funding landscape, alongside other successful startups like Supersonik and Anyformat.

Founded in 2025, Uxia operates globally from its headquarters in Barcelona and is part of the Barcelona Activa’s Startup Lab acceleration program. The founding team brings a wealth of product and technical expertise from industry giants such as Google, Gopuff, Shiji, and TransferGo.

Uxia’s focus on simulating user behavior through AI-powered synthetic profiles has garnered interest for its potential to streamline UX testing processes, allowing for faster iteration cycles and broader accessibility to validation methods.

Abac Nest Ventures partner, Joan Pina Ollé, sees Uxia as a prime example of AI-enabling B2B SaaS with global ambitions, positioning the company to lead a new category in UX validation. The involvement of industry experts like Javier Darriba further strengthens Uxia’s growth trajectory.
