FIA President Mohammad Ben Sulayem Teases New One-Off Koenigsegg Hypercar

FIA President Mohammad Ben Sulayem has recently shared exciting details about his upcoming hypercar project. The hypercar is said to be another unique creation from Koenigsegg, adding to Ben Sulayem’s exclusive collection.

Ben Sulayem, known for owning the one-off Koenigsegg Chimera, is collaborating with the renowned Swedish brand to develop a never-before-seen version of the Regera. A teaser clip posted on social media gives a glimpse of the project as Ben Sulayem discusses the latest venture with @shmee150.

The esteemed collector currently houses two Regeras in his collection. One of these hybrid hypercars is undergoing a transformation into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece by the Koenigsegg Legends Division.

Ben Sulayem disclosed that the specific Regera (chassis no. 7191) is being revamped into a pure V8 vehicle by eliminating its hybrid components. The twin-turbo V8 engine’s power output is set to be enhanced to approximately 1600 hp.

Koenigsegg introduced the innovative Engage Shift System (ESS) on the CC850’s Light Speed Transmission. This cutting-edge technology will be integrated into Ben Sulayem’s Regera, setting it apart as a unique creation in the hypercar realm.
