Patapon 1+2 Replay has recently introduced a new mode in its 1.09 update called the Boss Rush Challenge. This mode presents players with a series of boss battles after they have completed the main campaign. The Boss Rush Challenge features varying numbers of bosses per stage, increasing in difficulty as players progress. Health and army strength will carry over between stages, and fallen Patapons will not drop caps but will have their health restored upon completing a stage. Alongside this new mode, the update also includes several additional fixes.

Patapon 1+2 Replay 1.09 Update Patch Notes

  • Fixed a bug that caused unexpected behavior in text displays on the WORLD MAP in PATAPON and PATAPON 2.
  • Resolved a graphical issue affecting certain Patapon units in Patapon 2.

  • Fixed an issue where specific actions during save data selection could halt game progression.
  • Corrected a bug in PATAPON 2’s HEAD QUARTERS that caused unintended unit formations.
