Known for his engaging content on the popular gaming platform, DanTDM, whose real name is Daniel Middleton, will be hosting a show titled “Next Level with DanTDM” on Classic FM. The series promises to showcase a diverse range of video game music, blending the worlds of gaming and classical music in a unique and exciting way.

The debut episode of “Next Level with DanTDM” is scheduled to air on Saturday, January 11, at 9PM GMT. Middleton will be curating a selection of iconic video game soundtracks, including music from titles like The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII, Skyrim, and Street Fighter II. Middleton expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating, “Teenage me wouldn’t be able to believe I have my own radio show. Having studied music production at university and then worked in video games for the past 15 years, being given a show that celebrates the meeting of these two worlds feels totally surreal.”

Classic FM’s managing editor Philip Noyce, shared his enthusiasm for the new series, emphasizing the station’s commitment to showcasing diverse forms of classical music, including gaming soundtracks. Noyce highlighted that this initiative builds on the success of previous radio series like High Score, which focused on game music since 2017.
