Unveiling iOS 26: Embracing the Revolutionary Apple Intelligence Feature

This new Apple Intelligence feature in iOS 26 might be one of my all-time favorites

After its six months in beta, iOS 26 has brought about significant changes that have not gone unnoticed. While the overall redesign has garnered attention, there are some smaller, yet impactful, features that have made a difference. One such feature that stands out to me is the enhanced functionality of screenshots.

The new iOS 26 interface for screenshots includes three new Apple Intelligence features: the ability to create calendar events, image search for web results, and integration with ChatGPT.

Visual Intelligence for Calendar events

A standout feature of iOS 26 is the ability to effortlessly create calendar events directly from a screenshot.

Prior to this update, I wasn’t someone who heavily relied on calendars. However, with the new screenshot functionality, that has changed.

Now, creating a calendar event is as simple as taking a screenshot, and this has significantly increased my usage of the calendar feature. During events like CES, where I had a packed schedule, this feature proved to be extremely handy.

The accuracy of this feature is impressive. Whether it’s a screenshot of an email, a website, or an Instagram story, the system effectively extracts the relevant information and transforms it into a calendar event with just a tap of a button.
