Apple’s Revolutionary Transformation: Siri Evolves into a ChatGPT-Style AI Bot
Apple to Transform Siri into an AI Chatbot
Apple is set to revolutionize its voice assistant, Siri, by integrating it with AI chatbot capabilities directly into iPhones and Macs. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this major overhaul is expected to roll out later this year, replacing the current Siri interface. Users will soon be able to interact with Siri through both typing and voice commands, similar to existing chatbots from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
Enhanced Siri Features Coming Soon
Aside from the upcoming AI-powered personalization features, Apple’s Siri update will introduce a chatbot function. This new feature will utilize a customized Google Gemini AI model resulting from the recent partnership between the two tech giants. According to Bloomberg, the chatbot capabilities of Siri will exceed its AI personalization features significantly.
Upcoming Siri AI Update, Codenamed Campos
Apple plans to unveil the Siri AI update, internally known as Campos, during the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, with a launch scheduled for September. This update will be a key feature in iOS 27, iPadOS, and macOS 27, with other updates primarily focusing on system stability, as reported by Gurman.
