Sky One Reborn: A Guide to the Relaunched TV Channel

Remember the beloved British channel, Sky One, known for its array of original and American shows? Well, it’s making a grand return with a blend of familiar favorites and exciting new series.

Over its 39-year history, Sky One aired popular British productions like The Russell Howard Hour and An Idiot Abroad, alongside American classics such as The X-Files, The Simpsons, The Middle, and Star Trek. Despite being discontinued in 2021 during company restructuring, it is now reclaiming its spot on channel 106.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Sky One will relaunch, displacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max. Exclusive to Sky Ultimate TV, Sky Signature, and Sky+ users, the channel will feature shows like Rob & Romesh Vs…, The Paper and Ted, The Dyers’ Caravan Park, and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

One of the highly anticipated shows on Sky One will be Saturday Night Live UK, a British adaptation of the popular US comedy series. Renowned for its satirical sketches on current events and celebrity hosts, this late-night program has been a huge success in the US. British audiences can now experience the unique blend of humor for themselves.
