Google’s Pixel 10A: The Affordable Midrange Phone with a $50 Discount

Google’s Pixel 10A is a good midrange phone that’s $50 off

If you are thinking about upgrading your phone, you should definitely consider the Pixel 10A by Google. This midrange phone offers some of the new software features found in the more expensive Pixel 10. Right now, you can save $50 on every color of the 128GB Pixel 10A, including the attractive “berry” tone, which is available for $449 at Amazon, Best Buy, and the Google Store. If you have an eligible trade-in, you can get it for an even lower price. This discount is the first one we have seen since the phone was launched in early March. The 256GB version is also on sale for $549 at Amazon and Best Buy.

Our review of the Pixel 10A shows that Google has played it safe with this year’s model. It bears a striking resemblance to last year’s Pixel 9A, featuring a Tensor G4 processor and a camera setup with a 48-megapixel main shooter and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens. We advise against purchasing the 9A right now as its software support will end sooner, and it is currently more expensive than the 10A by $50 at most retailers.

The Pixel 10A distinguishes itself with a slightly brighter screen, faster wired charging, and support for Satellite SOS, among other minor differences. It also offers two unique AI-powered features from the Pixel 10 series that are not present in the 9A: Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. However, there are no internal hardware differences in the latest model that would prevent these features from being added to last year’s model.
