Introducing HomeAgent: UGREEN’s Smart Home Hub Now Available in Boston

UGREEN, a well-known consumer electronics company specializing in charging and networking accessories, made a significant entry into the AIoT market by launching its HomeAgent ecosystem at an event held at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on September 1, 2026. This marked the company’s first foray into the smart home and AI hub market, showcasing a range of AIoT devices designed around local, on-device processing instead of cloud servers. As part of this launch, UGREEN also announced that New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez would serve as its global brand ambassador.

The event, themed ‘Smarter Living Starts Here’, introduced HomeAgent as a centralized hub that seamlessly integrates network storage, security camera management, and smart home control within a single unit. This innovative system utilizes artificial intelligence that operates locally on the device, eliminating the need for external servers controlled by UGREEN or third parties.

Central to the HomeAgent lineup are the UGREEN HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro models, described as local AI hubs that combine network-attached storage, on-device AI processing, security monitoring, and smart home control functionalities. These devices offer natural language voice control through an assistant named Uliya, allowing users to manage connected devices, monitor door and camera statuses, and set up voice notifications for various events such as package deliveries or baby cries.

A key feature of the HA100 series is its emphasis on local storage, enabling files, photos, and camera footage to be stored directly on the device itself without any monthly storage fees. Even in the event of an internet connection loss, core storage, security, and smart home functions can continue to operate over the household’s network, though remote access, mobile notifications, and software updates necessitate an internet connection.

Furthermore, the HA100 devices are equipped with advanced capabilities such as processing footage locally to identify individuals, vehicles, pets, and packages, creating short highlight clips from recordings, and enabling keyword searches within recorded videos. With Matter support, these hubs can unify compatible smart home devices for seamless voice or app-based control, including the creation of custom automation scenes.

The standard HA100 features a Rockchip RK3588 processor with 16GB of memory, three drive bays for 2.5 or 3.5-inch hard drives, and a 2.5 gigabit Ethernet connection. In contrast, the HA100 Pro boasts a CIX-P1-CP8180 processor with 32GB of memory, a 128GB internal NVMe drive, and a 10 gigabit Ethernet connection, offering enhanced semantic understanding, voice-activated automation rule creation, and more sophisticated behavior and intent recognition capabilities.

Above the HA100 range lies the UGREEN MasterAgent MA100, a local AI hub powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000 platform. This advanced device delivers up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local computing performance, enabling the execution of large AI models within the home environment and facilitating the coordination of multiple connected devices and tasks simultaneously. Developers will have the opportunity to enhance the MasterAgent’s functionalities by creating additional packages or skills through a dedicated developer platform.

Complementing the HomeAgent ecosystem are several companion devices, including the UGREEN SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro, a 4K pan-and-tilt camera with local AI recognition and starlight night vision. Additionally, two outdoor cameras, the UGREEN SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro and the UGREEN SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro, offer varying features such as hybrid zoom, weatherproof ratings, and innovative power sources like solar panels.

For voice control throughout the home, the UGREEN Smart Speaker for Uliya offers a high-quality audio system and a microphone array for effective far-field voice pickup. Lastly, the UGREEN Gallery presents a 13.3-inch digital photo frame utilizing E Ink Spectra 6 display technology to showcase family photos and artwork with reduced screen glare, ideal for extended use on a single charge.

In conjunction with the product launches, UGREEN announced Christian Gonzalez, a cornerback for the New England Patriots, as its global brand ambassador. This partnership, which began in April when UGREEN became the Patriots’ official tech accessory partner, aims to leverage Gonzalez’s influence to promote the HomeAgent ecosystem. UGREEN’s sales director for North America, Marshall Mao, emphasized that the purpose of HomeAgent is to create a system that can understand and assist households while maintaining user control over data and decisions, rather than simply introducing more connected devices.

As part of the collaboration with Christian Gonzalez, UGREEN plans to showcase its products at four Patriots home games at Gillette Stadium and host a watch party at multiple Boston venues on December 10, featuring product demonstrations and on-site purchases.

Pre-orders for the HA100, HA100 Pro, and MasterAgent MA100 opened on September 4, 2026, through UGREEN’s AIoT online store. Customers who place a deposit of $50 or more during the pre-order period can secure a ‘Super Early Bird’ price, offering a 50% discount off the eventual retail price. Pre-orders will be accepted until October 27, 2026, after which UGREEN intends to transition the AIoT range to a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, with additional accessories set to join the lineup. The Kickstarter campaign will encompass various European markets, including the United Kingdom, with shipping slated to commence in January 2027.
