iPhone 18 Pro Drop Test Exclusives Pulled from X Source
iPhone 18 Pro Drop Test Videos Removed From X Platform
Recently, videos claiming to demonstrate the drop test of the iPhone 18 Pro were swiftly taken down from X platform shortly after their emergence. This action was initially highlighted by MacRumors. An account mimicking renowned leaker EvLeaks was suspended on X for sharing these videos, which were also deleted due to violating the platform’s guidelines.
Another prominent leaker, IceUniverse, also shared these controversial clips. IceUniverse posted on Weibo a screenshot from X showing that the video had been removed, accompanied by the translated text stating, “Apple has already started blocking the leaked data on Twitter.”
These leaked videos align with Reuters‘ report, which mentioned that the leaked data contained images of the iPhone 18 Pro undergoing a drop test and detailed parts lists. In the videos that circulated on X, a gray-colored device with a triple-camera setup and the iconic Apple logo is seen falling from a short height against a checkered backdrop. A source informed Reuters that Apple was notably concerned about this breach. As of now, Apple has not provided any immediate response to The Verge‘s request for comment.
