Beaten Path is a tactical turn based RPG coming in 2027

Exciting New Tactical RPG Beaten Path Announced

Publisher Wales Interactive and developer Peacebreak Studio have revealed a new tactical turn-based RPG that has caught the attention of gamers. Beaten Path draws inspiration from beloved titles like Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, evident in its engaging announcement trailer showcasing both combat and world exploration.

Set in a world where the gods have fallen, Beaten Path follows the journey of Panna and her companions. Players will unravel lost histories, memories, wars, and mythical powers as they navigate through the game. Panna can team up with 25 unique characters, each possessing their own abilities, weapons, and jobs. The innovative job system allows characters to equip two jobs, each with their own skill trees.

Jarett Gross, the mind behind Peacebreak Studio, shared his motivation for developing Beaten Path. He expressed, “I started Beaten Path because I wanted to create a tactical RPG that embraces strategic gameplay, customization, and a richly immersive world. After nearly five years of development, the game has evolved beyond my initial vision. The community’s support has been invaluable, and partnering with Wales Interactive opens up exciting opportunities to introduce Beaten Path to a wider audience on PC and consoles. I look forward to revealing more as the development progresses.”

Scheduled for release in 2027, Beaten Path will be accessible on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch, promising an expansive gaming experience for players.
