Cashflows Invests in Tap & Go: A Partnership in Payment Technologies
Cashflows, a FinTech company based in London, has recently made an investment in Tap & Go, a startup located in Blackpool that specializes in card payment technologies and merchant services.
The specific amount of the investment remains undisclosed. Tap & Go intends to utilize this capital to fuel its ongoing expansion, allowing customers to access a wider range of products across various industries. This investment further strengthens the commercial partnership between the two companies.
Anna McDonald, the Managing Director of Tap & Go, emphasized, “We are dedicated to building a brand and offering that attracts customers to Tap & Go for our unwavering support in their growth journey. Partnering with Cashflows, a fellow challenger in the industry, brings a shared level of determination, ambition, and drive. The collaboration of two female-led businesses with such a mindset allows us to set high goals for customer satisfaction and innovation.”
Tap & Go, founded in 2022 by Anna McDonald and Nichola Eagle under the International Connections Group (ICG), has recently become an independent entity. The company specializes in providing card payment solutions and business cash advances tailored for businesses of all sizes.
Established in 2010 and under the leadership of CEO Hannah Fitzsimons, Cashflows facilitates seamless card and digital payment acceptance for growing businesses and financial institutions. The company’s secure ecosystem spans across Europe, offering a comprehensive payment processing solution.
This strategic investment unites two women-led businesses in the payment industry, as Fitzsimons collaborates with McDonald and Eagle. The partnership, initiated in 2025, involves Cashflows providing infrastructure and transaction settlement services for Tap & Go’s card machines.
The investment empowers Tap & Go to expand its offerings beyond card payments into e-commerce, virtual payments, and multi-site solutions. Additionally, the capital injection will support talent development, brand enhancement, and market positioning to attract new customers organically.
Cashflows envisions closer collaboration with Tap & Go to leverage their combined strengths and explore new growth avenues. This investment aligns with Cashflows’ broader growth strategy, indicating a pursuit of further strategic investment opportunities.
Hannah Fitzsimons expressed, “Beyond a mere financial investment, our belief in Tap & Go’s vision and the team’s passion is palpable. This partnership signifies a chance to accelerate Tap & Go’s growth phase by combining their customer-centric approach with our industry experience.”
