Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II Set to Launch Next Week

Bulwark Studios and publisher Kaisedo Games are gearing up for the release of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II on 21st May. The highly anticipated game will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the official launch scheduled to coincide with the upcoming Warhammer Skulls stream.

Following the success of the original 2017 turn-based tactical game, Mechanicus II promises to continue the thrilling gameplay experience while introducing a significant new feature. Players can look forward to not one, but two campaigns, offering a fresh perspective on the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Necron awakening.

Players will have the opportunity to once again take on the role of the Adeptus Mechanicus, fighting against the resurgence of the Necrons. Alternatively, they can lead a faction of Necron nobles seeking to reclaim their dominance over the galaxy. Both factions will boast unique playstyles, with the Adeptus Mechanicus focusing on utilizing cover while the Necrons specialize in destructive tactics.

The game will delve deeper into the Mechanicus saga, with the narrative penned by acclaimed Black Library novelist Ben Counter. Additionally, the immersive atmosphere of the game will be enhanced by the music and audio design by Guillaume David.

Warhammer Skulls, the highly anticipated showcase, is set to commence at 5PM UK time on 21st May. While new announcements are on the horizon, Games Workshop has already confirmed the participation of several popular and highly awaited games, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and Total War: Warhammer III.
