Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Unveiled as New Flagship Limousine

Mercedes-Benz has recently introduced the latest addition to its luxury lineup, the Maybach S-Class. This new flagship limousine is based on the facelifted version of the sedan that made its debut earlier this year. The Maybach S-Class will be offered with a choice of V8 or V12 engines, as well as a plug-in hybrid option, depending on the market.

Distinctive Design Features

The overall design of the Maybach S-Class closely resembles the standard S-Class model, with some unique Maybach-specific elements. These include a bespoke grille with an illuminated frame and backlit ‘Maybach’ lettering, an illuminated hood ornament, special wheel designs available in 20- or 21-inch sizes, and striking two-tone exterior color schemes.

Luxurious Interior

The interior of the Maybach S-Class is meticulously crafted with soft leather and premium trim materials. The dashboard layout mirrors that of the standard S-Class, featuring a large central touchscreen and an additional screen on the passenger side for added convenience.

Engine Options

The Maybach S-Class is offered in two variants: the S 580 and the S 680. The S 580 model is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.

The S 680 variant is available with either a 604 horsepower V8 engine or a 621 horsepower V12 engine. Additionally, there is a plug-in hybrid version, the S 580e, which boasts a total output of 577 horsepower.

Mercedes-Benz has once again raised the bar in the luxury segment with the introduction of the Maybach S-Class, combining exquisite design, cutting-edge technology, and powerful performance in one exceptional package.
