Telehealth Company Hims & Hers Health Reports Data Breach

A recent data breach has affected telehealth giant Hims & Hers Health, after unauthorized access to support tickets on a third-party customer service platform. This American company specializes in direct-to-consumer healthcare, offering subscription-based treatments for various conditions like hair loss, erectile dysfunction, mental health, skincare, and weight loss.

With a significant presence in the online pharmacy and telehealth industry, Hims & Hers Health has annual revenues nearing $1 billion, making it one of the most successful brands in the field.

The breach was discovered in early February 2026, with suspicious activity on the customer service platform prompting an immediate investigation by the company. It was found that between February 4 and February 7, 2026, certain support tickets containing personal information were accessed without authorization.

Although names, contact details, and other unspecified data were exposed, no medical records or doctor communications were compromised. The breach was attributed to hackers gaining access to support tickets through the His and Hers Zendesk instance, following a widespread campaign targeting Okta SSO accounts.

As a precautionary measure, Hims & Hers Health is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring services to affected individuals and advising customers to remain vigilant against potential phishing attempts. They recommend reviewing account statements and monitoring credit reports for any suspicious activity.

Notably, the incident is part of a trend where customer support security breaches, such as those at ManoMano and Crunchyroll, have led to data compromises. In both cases, the compromised platform was Zendesk.
