Act Fast: Pixel 10a Price Jumps to £599 – Snag It Now for Just £399!

Google has surprised consumers by quietly increasing the prices of its Pixel 10a, following in the footsteps of Samsung’s price hike on the Galaxy S26 series. The sudden price jump, without prior notice, has left many users feeling blindsided, especially compared to Apple’s upfront communication about price changes.

The Pixel 10a now starts at a minimum of £599/$599, which is £100/$100 more than its initial launch price. The 256GB model is now priced at £699/$699. This price increase has significantly altered the value proposition of the Pixel 10a, which was once considered a budget-friendly mid-range option.

Interestingly, while customers in the US are required to pay the new prices immediately, UK customers can still purchase the Pixel 10a at a discounted rate.

How to Purchase the Pixel 10a for £399

The good news is, you can head over to Amazon to grab the 128GB model of the Pixel 10a for just £399. This price is applicable to the ‘Obsidian’ or ‘Berry’ finishes, while the ‘Fog’ and ‘Lavender’ variants are priced slightly higher at £429.

Rather than paying the increased prices, you can now save £100 on the base Pixel 10a and get it for £399. The 256GB model is also available at a discounted price of £499, down from £699, but this offer is limited to the ‘Obsidian’ color variant.

Amazon’s upcoming Prime-exclusive ‘Big Deal Days’ on 6-7 October may offer even more discounts, but you don’t need to be a Prime member to take advantage of this great deal. However, stocks are limited, and with Amazon undercutting Google’s official store prices, this offer may not last long.

Features of the Google Pixel 10a

The Pixel 10a is positioned as the go-to mid-range smartphone in 2026, offering essential features such as a stunning 6.3-inch display, reliable performance, and good battery life at an affordable price point.

Known for its excellent point-and-shoot camera capabilities, the Pixel 10a is considered the best camera phone under £700. It runs on Android 17, providing a seamless user experience, and boasts seven years of Android and security updates.

While the Pixel 10a may not have the flashiest design, its dependable performance and near-flush rear camera design make it a durable and reliable choice for users. The phone is built to last and offers a solid user experience, making it a highly recommended option.

Why the Pixel 10a is a Great Deal

Despite the price increase to £599, the Pixel 10a remains a popular choice due to its overall value proposition. However, the discounted price of £399 on Amazon makes it an even more attractive option, offering the same phone at a significantly lower price point.

In a market where smartphone deals are scarce, the Pixel 10a at £399 stands out as a genuine bargain. While the Pixel 9a may offer better value in normal circumstances, the current discounted price of the 10a makes it a compelling choice.

Considering the enhanced features of the Pixel 10a, such as faster charging, tougher front glass, higher display brightness, and a more compact design, opting for the newer model at a discounted price is a wise decision. At £399, the Pixel 10a offers excellent value compared to other smartphones in the market.

If you’re torn between the Pixel 10a and the Galaxy S25 FE, both priced at £399, the Pixel 10a’s features and discounted price make it a compelling option worth considering.
