Amazon has unveiled its latest offering, the Kindle Click remote, priced at $34.99. This Bluetooth remote allows readers to effortlessly turn pages on their e-readers without the need to physically hold or reach for the device.

Designed for convenience, the Kindle Click is perfect for reading in various settings such as under the covers, on a treadmill, or during a flight. It is available for pre-order and is set to ship on Oct. 28. The remote recharges via USB-C, features side buttons for adjusting brightness, and is compatible with Kindles released in 2024 or later.

Inspired by the BookTok community on TikTok, Amazon aims to enhance the reading experience for Kindle users by introducing this long-awaited remote control.

In addition to the Kindle Click, Amazon is reintroducing physical page-turn buttons with the new $79.99 Page-Turn Cover. This magnetic cover is compatible with the latest Signature Edition versions of the Paperwhite and Colorsoft.

The revamped Kindle lineup features screens that seamlessly blend into the edges, vibrant color options, and optional aluminum casings. A notable addition is the user-replaceable batteries to meet European Union regulations.

The pricing for the new Kindles starts at $149.99 for the base model, with the aluminum variant priced at $189.99. The Paperwhite begins at $199.99, while the Colorsoft starts at $289.99. Signature Editions are available for $249.99 and $319.99 respectively. These prices reflect the recent increase in Kindle prices by $40 to $50 due to rising memory and storage costs. The base Kindle is currently available, with the Paperwhite and Colorsoft set to ship on Oct. 28.
