Bandai Namco Announces Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 for Next-Gen Consoles and PC

Exciting news for Dragon Ball fans as Bandai Namco has officially announced the upcoming release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. Set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027, this highly anticipated game is sure to take the gaming world by storm. However, fans of the Nintendo Switch may be disappointed as the Switch 2 is notably missing from the lineup.

It has been over a decade since the release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 back in 2016, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment in the series. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will transport players to Age 1000, a whole new world within the Dragon Ball universe. This brand new future will be filled with unique and original characters created by the legendary Akira Toriyama. Players will have the opportunity to explore West City, a bustling metropolis, and take on new challenges as part of the Great Saiyan Squad.

Looking back at the success of Xenoverse 2, it is clear that the game captured the spirit of the beloved anime series. Our review stated, “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 offers a vast amount of content for players to enjoy, allowing them to battle and level up in the captivating world of the Super Saiyans. While some parts may feel repetitive over time, fans will appreciate the alternative take on familiar scenes. However, players of the original Xenoverse may experience a sense of déjà vu throughout their journey.”

With the game set to release on next-gen consoles and PC, fans can expect even more immersive gameplay and stunning graphics. Stay tuned for more updates on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 as we approach the highly anticipated launch date.
