Honor’s new phones look like iPhones for Android

Honor unveils new 600 and 600 Pro smartphones with familiar design elements

Honor has recently introduced the Honor 600 and 600 Pro, labeling them as “accessible flagships” that bear a striking resemblance to certain popular smartphones, especially in their vibrant orange color.

The design similarities are particularly evident in the Honor 600 Pro, which features a triple rear camera setup with a flash layout identical to that of the iPhone. On the other hand, the Honor 600 opts for a slightly subtler approach by omitting the 3.5x telephoto lens found in the Pro model. This isn’t the first time Honor has taken inspiration from Apple’s devices, as evidenced by last year’s Honor 500, which drew parallels to the iPhone Air, albeit only available in Asia.

Both the Honor 600 and 600 Pro boast IP69K water-resistance ratings, ensuring protection against water jets in close proximity to the phones. They feature midsize 6.57-inch OLED displays and are powered by large 6,400mAh batteries (with even larger 7,000mAh capacities in the Asian market). Additionally, both models support 80W wired charging, with the Pro model also offering wireless charging capabilities. The Honor 600 Pro is equipped with a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Honor 600 features the midrange Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

Available in Europe starting today, the Honor 600 is priced at €649.90 (approximately $760), while the Honor 600 Pro comes in at €999.90 ($1,170). This places the Pro model in a similar price range to the base iPhone 17 in the region, offering a more affordable alternative to the iPhone 17 Pro models that served as its inspiration.
