GMA T.50 fetches over $8 million at auction; a new record!

The GMA T.50: A Record-Breaking Sale at Broad Arrow Auctions

Broad Arrow Auctions recently made headlines by selling a GMA T.50 for an impressive $8.03 million. While this price set a new record for one of these analogue hypercars, it fell short of the initial estimated value of $10 million.

The specific model in question was chassis 009, featuring a stunning Reef Red exterior. Inside, the cabin boasted luxurious blue Alcantara trim, with the driver’s seat centrally positioned and upholstered in elegant grey leather. Remarkably, this particular T.50 had accumulated fewer than 30 miles on the odometer at the time of its sale.

The GMA T.50 is propelled by a 3.9-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine meticulously crafted by Cosworth. Delivering an impressive output of 654 hp at 11,500 rpm and 344 lb-ft at 9,000 rpm, this powerhouse channels its power to the rear wheels through a precise 6-speed manual transmission.

Boasting a design inspired by the iconic McLaren F1, the GMA T.50 features a unique 3-seat layout. A standout feature of this hypercar is its innovative fan-assisted ground-effect system, which includes a 400 mm fan mounted at the rear spinning at 7000 rpm to enhance downforce and stability.
