Outbound Release Date Moved Forward to May 11th

Recently, Square Glade Games announced a shift in the release date for their highly anticipated game, Outbound. Originally set for May 14th, the game will now be available on May 11th. This decision was made in response to the unveiling of the release date for Subnautica 2 Early Access, which coincided with Outbound’s initial launch date.

In a statement released by Square Glade Games, they expressed their excitement for Subnautica 2 but acknowledged the need to avoid competing with such a highly anticipated title. To ensure that Outbound receives the attention it deserves, the release date was advanced to May 11th on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox platforms. However, the PS5 and Switch versions will still be released on May 14th.

Outbound offers players the opportunity to explore a cozy, near-utopian world in a camper that can be customized with various items for a comfortable journey. Players can even adopt a pet to accompany them on their road trip. Additionally, the game supports four-player co-op, allowing friends to embark on the adventure together. Outbound will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Switch, and Switch 2.

Don’t miss out on the chance to start your road trip early with Outbound’s new release date of May 11th. Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable journey through a captivating world!
