Nuvolari Unleashed: Audi Considers Roofless Option
The Potential Arrival of an Audi Nuvolari Spyder
Rumors are swirling about the stunning Audi Nuvolari potentially making a splash in the convertible market. Just days after the debut of the hypercar, Audi’s CEO Gernot Döllner hinted at the possibility of a droptop variant.
While details are scarce, Döllner’s comments in a recent interview strongly suggest that a Nuvolari Spyder could be on the horizon. Although he mentioned that production numbers would not exceed 499 units, the idea of a convertible version seems to be on the table.
If the Nuvolari Spyder does become a reality, it is expected to be even more exclusive than its coupe counterpart, which is limited to 499 units worldwide. This exclusivity would likely come with a premium price tag on top of the already hefty $700,000 starting price of the original Nuvolari.
The potential convertible version of the Nuvolari is in line with market trends, as it shares its platform with the Lamborghini Temerario, which is also rumored to receive a convertible variant. This connection makes the development of a roofless Audi Nuvolari seem almost inevitable.
Although Audi has not officially confirmed any specific details or timelines for the Nuvolari Spyder, the hints dropped by Döllner suggest that the project is progressing behind the scenes.
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development!
