Apple is considering allowing users to pay for increased AI usage limits. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, mentioned during an earnings call that the company anticipates high demand for Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI. Cook hinted at potential upgrade options within iCloud Plus for users to expand their usage.

Apple Set to Launch Siri AI with iOS 27

This coming fall, Apple will finally unveil its long-awaited Siri AI alongside iOS 27. The new Siri will offer features like answering screen-related queries and performing tasks across various apps. Additionally, a standalone Siri AI app with a ChatGPT-like interface will be introduced.

Apple’s AI Features and Revenue Growth

In June, Apple announced that its AI functions, such as image generation, have daily usage restrictions due to server model requirements. While increased access is available on many iCloud Plus plans, Apple is considering introducing new tiers for heavy AI users. The company recently revealed a $30.74 billion revenue from its services segment, including subscriptions like iCloud Plus, Apple TV, and Apple One.
