BMW Unveils Exclusive M2 CS Edition EDGE Model for Japanese Market
BMW has recently introduced a new limited edition model, the M2 CS Edition EDGE, specifically designed for a niche audience. This exclusive car will be produced in a limited quantity of only 40 units, featuring a distinctive centre-exit exhaust system.
The BMW M2 CS Edition EDGE comes equipped with a range of M Performance parts, including carbon air-duct trim for the front brakes, rear aerodynamic elements, and a carbon engine cover. Additionally, it boasts a sport exhaust system with a separate diffuser, all of which were previously part of the M2 CS model.
Performance-wise, the BMW M2 CS Edition EDGE remains unchanged, featuring a potent 3.0L inline six turbocharged engine producing 530 hp. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this sports car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
The M2 CS Edition EDGE is available in two exclusive colors – Black Sapphire and M Brooklyn Grey. BMW plans to manufacture 20 units of each color variant. It is important to note that this limited edition model is exclusively targeted towards the Japanese market.
For those interested in owning this exclusive model, BMW has priced the M2 CS Edition EDGE at ¥16.63 million ($105,383) before additional registration costs and optional accessories. Deliveries are expected to commence in September 2026.
