Limerick-based Redfaire lands €13 million from BGF to scale its ERP and cloud services business

Redfaire, a leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) and cloud services provider based in Limerick, has recently received a €13 million minority investment from BGF, a growth capital firm based in Ireland. This investment will support Redfaire’s plans for international expansion, ongoing service development, and targeted acquisitions. Notably, this funding comes on the heels of Redfaire’s acquisition of eKal Solutions, which has enhanced its capabilities in human capital management, enterprise performance management, financials, and supply chain management solutions.

CEO and co-founder of Redfaire, Brian McInerney, expressed gratitude for BGF’s investment, emphasizing the alignment of their growth-focused mindset. Redfaire, established in 2003, specializes in assisting customers in modernizing their ERP systems and transitioning to cloud and hybrid solutions. With a team of over 200 professionals, Redfaire serves a customer base of global enterprises across multiple regions, focusing on Oracle’s JD Edwards ERP software and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

As a certified B Corp, BGF is dedicated to fostering growth in entrepreneurial businesses and has become a prominent equity investor in Ireland and the UK. BGF’s investment approach involves providing initial funding of €4 million to €20 million in exchange for a minority shareholding, with the potential for follow-on funding and scaleup support. MJ Murphy, an investor at BGF, commended Redfaire for its ambitious vision and differentiated ERP and cloud practice.

In addition to the investment, Redfaire has announced leadership changes, appointing Glenn Timms as Non-Executive Chair through the BGF Talent Network. Timms, with a background in technology-enabled services and enterprise software, brings valuable experience in international scaling and strategic acquisitions to support Redfaire’s global growth ambitions.
