Set on a unique hollow planet divided into Light and Dark sides, Terranigma follows the journey of Ark, a young protagonist who embarks on a daring adventure after opening a forbidden door. The game features intricate character designs by manga artist Kamui Fujiwara and engaging real-time combat mechanics, making it a standout title in the RPG genre.

The GOG page describes Terranigma as a technical and storytelling masterpiece, showcasing Quintet’s signature themes of creation and destruction. With its rich narrative and immersive gameplay, the game offers players a truly special experience that should not be missed.

Clear River Games Development, a subsidiary of Clear River Games AB, a publisher under the THQ Nordic/Embracer umbrella, is behind the re-release of Terranigma. Known for their work on various retro projects, the team is dedicated to bringing classic titles to modern platforms for fans to enjoy.

While an exact release date for the PC version is yet to be announced, fans can expect it to arrive in early 2027. For those who remember playing Terranigma in the 90s, this re-release offers a chance to revisit a nostalgic favorite and appreciate its enduring legacy.
