Apple Unveils Highly Anticipated iPhone Launch Event for September
Apple’s Upcoming Launch Event: What to Expect
Mark your calendars for September 9th at 1PM ET because Apple’s next big event is just around the corner. With the tagline “Surprise and shine,” invitations have already been sent out for the event, which will be held at the iconic Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry – there will be a livestream available on Apple’s website.
Rumors are swirling that this event could be a game-changer, with speculations of Apple finally unveiling the much-anticipated foldable iPhone. Leaked images of a dummy unit suggest that the foldable device may have a wide form factor similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8, a device that has been praised for its futuristic design.
In addition to the potential foldable iPhone, Apple is also expected to introduce updates to its Pro and Pro Max phone models. While these updates may not be a major redesign like last year’s release, consumers can anticipate the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to make an appearance.
Surprisingly, the base model iPhone 18 is rumored to be held back from this event and will likely be unveiled next year. Looking ahead, 2027 could bring even more excitement with rumors of an iPhone 18e and a second-generation iPhone Air in the works.
Notably, this event marks a significant transition for Apple as John Ternus steps into the role of CEO, succeeding Tim Cook on September 1st. With Ternus previously serving as the company’s hardware chief, all eyes will be on him as he leads Apple into its next chapter.
