Unexpected Price Surge for Google TV Streamer
Google TV Streamer Price Increase Due to Component Costs
In a recent statement to 9to5Google, Google has revealed that due to the rising costs of components, the prices of its devices in the US will be adjusted, effective from August 31.
The Google TV Streamer, which was launched two years ago, is now facing the consequences of the ongoing memory crisis. Earlier this year, Google had to increase the prices of its Pixel phones for the same reason, starting with the Pixel 11 series.
For those considering purchasing a Google TV Streamer outside the US, it is advisable to make the purchase before potential price hikes occur, although this has not been officially confirmed.
As of now, customers in the UK can still buy the Google TV Streamer from the official store at a price of £99.
