Xiaomi 18 Pro series launch date official

The Cost of Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max

In the realm of smartphones, good news often comes with a price tag. This rings especially true for the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, as they are expected to be on the pricier side.

According to a recent report from Ytechb, a reliable source for phone leaks, the smaller Xiaomi 18 Pro is anticipated to start at €1,449 (approximately £1,219) for the 256GB variant, with the 512GB model priced at €1,649 (around £1,387).

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is projected to cost €1,849 (about £1,556) for the 512GB version. It remains unclear whether this storage capacity will be the initial configuration or if other options will be available globally.

The Significance of the Price Hike

Drawing a direct comparison with last year’s global Xiaomi flagship lineup is challenging, as the Xiaomi 17 Pro series was not available in Western markets. Instead, consumers here had access to the €999 (£899) Xiaomi 17 and the €1,499 (£1,299) Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The impending Xiaomi 18 Pro series is undoubtedly positioned in a higher price bracket.

The fact that the base model of the Xiaomi 18 Pro is priced just €50 lower than the feature-packed Xiaomi 17 Ultra speaks volumes. The latter boasts impressive specs like a 1-inch main camera sensor and a variable zoom telephoto lens.
